A beautiful high quality archival watercolour artwork reproduction of a Kākāpō as it peers out into coming dawn light hopeful for what the future holds.

The original painting was auctioned off at the Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari Gala 2022, raising money to adapt the current fences so our endangered Kākāpō can be homed in the North Island for the first time in about 100 years.

The original photo inspiration for this painting was a Kākāpō called Koru, taken by Lydia Uddstrom a Kākāpō Recovey worker.

Print is 12” x 12” unframed.

All reproduction prints are printed on high quality Epson cotton rag with Epson archival inks. Frame not included.
